MoD is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our client’s team for a short-term contract! This is a remote opportunity with up to 10 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update HTML emails using prior templates
- Translate approved designs and content into production-ready email HTML
- Ensure emails follow branding, accessibility and email development standards
- Optimize code for desktop and mobile rendering across major email providers
- Complete pre-deployment quality assurance; layout, links, images, alt text, spacing, personalization fields and French-language content
- Troubleshoot rendering issues and make code adjustments based on testing results and stakeholder feedback
Key Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in email or digital marketing
- Experience with email marketing and marketing automation platforms
- Experience coding responsive HTML emails
- Strong knowledge of HTML and inline CSS for email
- Understanding of email-client rendering limitations (Microsoft Outlook)
- Experience developing mobile-responsive and accessible email content
- Ability to work from design files, content documents and established templates
- Strong attention to detail and experience completing technical and visual QA
