MoD is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead the end-to-end relocation for our client’s facility. This role is all about precision planning, smooth execution, and minimizing disruptions to ongoing operations and project timelines.
Note that this is a 8-month contract, with possibility for extension.
You’ll develop and drive the full relocation plan: building schedules, coordinating resources, aligning stakeholders, and managing contractors responsible for labeling, dismantling, transporting, and reinstalling equipment. From risk mitigation to budget tracking, infrastructure readiness to after-hours oversight, you’ll ensure every technical space is moved safely, efficiently, and fully operational post-transition.
You’ll work closely with various teams while maintaining detailed documentation and inventory. You will verify system performance after the move, and deliver a detailed post-relocation review. Your ability to solve problems on the fly and keep cross-functional teams aligned will be key to a seamless transition!
We’re seeking someone with proven relocation and IT-infrastructure project experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a solid understanding of electrical/electronic equipment environments. A background in IT, Engineering, or related fields is ideal, with PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred.
